These Tuesday evening classes offer simple, practical methods to improve the quality of our life and develop inner peace through meditation and Buddhist teachings. Each class consists of two guided meditations and a teaching on the topic. Everybody welcome!

How to Solve Our Human Problems | Tuesdays 7-8.15pm | Sep 27, Oct 4 & 11

We have the potential to free ourselves from all our problems, but firstly we need to correctly identify them.

Buddhist Master, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche explains that our real problems do not exist outside our mind. Our real problems are our feelings of worry, pain, suffering, unhappiness and so forth that we experience throughout our life. All these feelings are internal phenomena – they are part of our mind. By learning how to control our mind, and in particular by controlling our anger and uncontrolled desire, our internal problems will reduce and eventually disappear completely.

In these classes, Buddhist Teacher Diana Waterhouse will draw out key insights from the precious text ‘How to Solve Our Human Problems’ by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche

The Teacher of this course is Diana Waterhouse, the Resident Teacher of Samudra Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Tasmania. With over 17 years’ experience in meditation, Diana explains Buddha’s teachings with warmth and clarity, showing how we can easily integrate them into our daily life to make our life more happy, peaceful and meaningful.
