In our busy lives we find it very difficult to relax and enjoy the moment. The modern world with all its technology and distraction keep us in a state of almost constant turbulance and anxiety. Even while we are doing things we like, our mind is never in the present – we are constantly making plans for the future, worrying about what might happen next, and we never really feel content.
We are all searching for lasting inner peace and happiness, but until we let go of this limiting mental habit, it will always elude us. On this half day course learn to break this bad habit and start to control your mind. Through this you will develop inner peace and make the most of every moment of your life.
Sarah Bissell is the Resident Teacher at Samudra Kadampa Buddhist Centre. She teaches with warmth and gentleness, and clearly demonstrates how Buddha’s teachings provide solutions to the problems and difficulties of modern day life.
