The Power of a Peaceful Mind
Sun 19 Mar | 10am – 1pm  |  Ulverstone

INNER PEACE is underrated. And yet without inner peace, contentment and mental calm it is impossible to enjoy our life to its fullest potential.

IN THE ABSENCE of inner peace we tend to experience the opposite: a turbulent, restless mind that is difficult to control. If we tally up the moments of our life where we were slightly, moderately or highly unpeaceful, it seems like a lot. Despite this experience, we are not doomed: there is definitely something we can do about our mind.

BUDDHA EXPLAINED that within each of us exists enormous potential for self-transformation and inner peace.

AT THIS HALF-DAY COURSE, Buddhist Teacher Diana Waterhouse will explain how we can access this peace, not just at some point in the future, but right now as we go about our daily business. There are a wealth of techniques, including meditation that are available to us. By applying these methods we will learn how to get calm and stay calm no matter what. Ultimately we will experience the happiness and peace of mind that we have always longed for.
