Breaking Bad Habits – A Meditation Half-Day Course
Sat 30 Jan | 10am – 1pm | North Hobart
AT THE START OF EVERY YEAR we make plans to change. We make new year’s resolutions. We tell ourself and our friends that this year is going to be different. But in spite of our good intentions we often find ourself falling back into our same bad habits – the habits that make us feel stuck, unhappy, discouraged and sometimes even out of control.
AT THIS UPLIFTING HALF-DAY COURSE, Buddhist Teacher Diana Waterhouse will explain how we can harness the power of our own mind to reverse this situation. Instead of letting your bad habits control your experience, learn how to break free from painful, unhelpful and limiting patterns of thought. By clearly understanding the psychology of a bad habit we can uproot its causes and come to enjoy lasting happiness and true mental freedom.
Start your year on the right foot by learning how to break your bad habits for good!
The Teacher of this course is Diana Waterhouse, the Resident Teacher of Samudra Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Tasmania. With over 15 years’ experience in meditation, Diana explains Buddha’s teachings with warmth and clarity, showing how we can easily integrate them into our daily life to make our life more happy, peaceful and meaningful.
