All events in Tasmania are run by Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia (KMCA). KMCA is the national centre for Kadampa Buddhism in Australia. Located an hour outside of Melbourne in the lush forest of the Dandenong Ranges, it is the perfect place for experiencing inner peace.
The purpose of KMCA is to provide a peaceful and inspiring place for people to learn about meditation and Buddhism. KMCA has an extraordinary Buddhist Temple, established for World Peace, in which a range of classes and courses are held.
KMCA is home to a residential community of monks, nuns and lay practitioners, and offers in-depth study programs for those wishing to increase their understanding of Buddhism. KMCA also hosts national and international events with highly respected Kadampa Buddhist teachers from Australia and abroad.
KMCA is a non-profit organisation whose aim is to create peace and harmony within our world. All proceeds go towards this aim, and specifically for building International Temples for World Peace. Everyone is welcome to visit KMC Australia.
