A MEDITATION HALF-DAY COURSE
Saturday 2 June – 1pm-4.30pm
Hodgkin Hall – Friend’s School
When things go wrong in our life and we encounter difficult situations we tend to regard the situation itself as the problem. But if we learn to maintain a peaceful mind, we can be happy all the time regardless of our circumstances.
On this day course, we will learn Buddhist techniques to help us respond to difficulties with a positive mind. In this way we will be able to accept painful feelings, overcome minds such as anger and frustration and discover true inner peace.
The Teacher
The teacher of this course is Jake Zakarauskas, a disciple of renowned teacher Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. He inspires people to use Buddhist meditation to improve their lives through his sincere example and clear teachings.
