WHAT MAKES SOMEONE happy or unhappy? From one point of view this is the most important question in life, yet for many of us the happiness we seek seems elusive, fleeting and oftentimes hard to find.
BUDDHA EXPLAINED that happiness is simply the experience of a peaceful, calm and contented mind, and unhappiness is the experience of a busy, agitated and restless mind. To become a happier person therefore, all we need to do is change our thinking from negative to positive, from unclear to clear, from discontent to content and so forth.
AT THESE SPECIAL EVENTS, open to everyone, Buddhist Teacher Diana Waterhouse will explain the relationship between our daily experience of happiness and well-being and the internal thought processes and mental habit patterns that we have.
DISCOVER HOW TO develop new habits of mind that will lead you in the direction of happiness, joy and inner peace. By working on our mind through meditation and other practices we will feel fulfilled and enriched and every aspect of our life will improve.
